Seiji Adachi, a BoJ deliberator, said the BoJ must raise interest rates in stages as it normalises monetary policy. The BoJ will raise interest rates at a very moderate pace and maintain accommodative financial conditions until underlying inflation is stable and sustainable at 2 per cent.
